Lowestoft Lions’ Christmas Draw

Five lucky shoppers at a Pakefield Superstore had a great start to their Christmas when their tickets were picked as the lucky winners in the Lowestoft Lions Hamper Draw.
Lions members had been in Morrison’s Superstore in Tower Road, Pakefield for three days offering shoppers a chance to win one of three large hampers or a £15 gift voucher as prizes in a raffle.
Over a 1000 tickets were sold and the main winners, who were from Planters Grove, Gratton Dale and Cranleigh Road, received either a £100, £75 or £50 hamper.
The proceeds from the annual draw helps to fund 80 Christmas grocery hampers for needy families and individuals.
Organisers Lions Trevor Waters and Derek Howe, expressed their thanks to Hannah Shipp and Sheryl Rumble of Morrisons and to their shoppers for supporting the draw and helping with the seasonal fundraising.
