Grand Easter Egg Trail

Lowestoft Lions still plan to distribute the 500 chocolate eggs they have bought despite cancelling their Easter Egg Trail

Following the latest Government restrictions on travel advising us all to stay at home where possible and to stay away from other people, Lowestoft Lions have had to revise their plans to distribute the 500 Easter Eggs purchased for the annual Easter Trail in Sparrow’s Nest Gardens.

We have decided that the most responsible action to comply with the restrictions was to donate the Easter treats to nine local organisations who assist vulnerable groups with the remaining 210 eggs being given to the food bank. We were able to do this whilst being mindful of the need for social distancing.

We would like to acknowledge Nicholson’s Solicitors for their generous sponsorship and to the outlets that helped by distributing vouchers.

The Lions’ are really disappointed’.at having to cancel such a popular event and look ahead to Easter 2021, when we hope to see you all once again in Sparrow’s Nest Gardens to enjoy another Easter Egg Trail.
